The Hymns Album
Product Details
Hymns have been around in one form or another for as long as people have gathered together in a formal manner to worship, praise, marry or mourn.
No better expression of the joy engendered by a goodly number of voices singing hymns may be found than in the grand forces of the Huddersfield Choral Society.
Conducted by Joseph Cullen, with Darius Battiwalla (organ). Some tracks also feature brass arrangements, and members of the Huddersfield chroal Society Junior Choirs. Recorded in Huddersfield Town Hall January 2006.
This is a completely new album, and there is no overlap with the famous 1985 hymns album with Owain Arwel Hughes (now deleted).
